
Pokémon GO is rolling out new details about its upcoming major live event called Wild Area: Nagasaki, set to launch in just over a week. This event is part of a series of activities in the popular mobile game, which continues to introduce various Pokémon and forms. Recently, a Halloween event finished, adding new Pokémon such as Poltchageist and Sinistcha.
The Wild Area event will focus heavily on both Dark and Fairy-type Pokémon, providing players with Special Research missions themed around these types. Players can earn exciting perks like in-game stamps by traveling around Nagasaki to complete the Pokemon GO Stamp Rally. Additionally, a shiny version of Unown-K will debut during this event, in conjunction with supply balloons that will offer special items for players. The Wild Area 2025 event takes place from November 7 through November 9.

- Type-Themed Event Medals: Players can earn rewards based on which Pokémon type (Dark or Fairy) they choose for their missions.
- New Cosmetic Items: Fresh costumes, including a Bewear Onesie, are coming to the game.
- GO Wild Area Supply Balloon: Special balloons providing GO Safari Balls will appear during the event.
Pokémon GO fans have lots to look forward to with this event, especially with the debut of Grimmsnarl, which will receive its Gigantamax version. This event signifies a vibrant continuation of Pokémon GO’s extensive line of in-person events and seasonal activities.
