Christopher Judge Envisions an Egyptian Setting for the Next God of War

Kratos' voice actor shares his hopes for the next installment of God of War, suggesting it could explore Egyptian mythology.

During MCM London Comic Con, Christopher Judge, the voice behind Kratos, expressed his aspirations for the next chapter of God of War. He envisions a possible foray into Egyptian mythology, suggesting that it could feature encounters with deities like Sobek. Judge remarked, “Because I became best known as Teal’c from Stargate, to go to Egypt would be a completion of my circle. But whatever is decided… I have no doubt that no matter what pantheon it is, it will be great.” This implies discussions may already be in progress about another sequel, even if official announcements aren’t yet available. Egyptian mythology is a fitting exploration for Kratos, given the historical overlap with Greek mythology.
