Auroch Digital teased the game ‘Boltgun 2’ in May and has since released a new trailer. The upcoming game, set for release in 2026, will feature a new playable character, Nyra Veyrath, who is a Celestian of the Sisters of Battle. Nyra wields a combination of a bolt pistol and power sword, and switches to a meltagun or flamer to combat enemies of the Imperium. The gameplay will allow players to choose between two protagonists.

Additionally, Boltgun 2 will feature a branching campaign with different decisions impacting the journey through various levels, including new biomes like a jungle swamp and a hive city. A winter landscape is also anticipated, though players hope not to get lost as frequently as they did in the first installment.
