Arrowhead Game Studios CEO Shams Jorjani has disappointing news for fans regarding the Helldivers 2 game, stating its ongoing performance issues might take “many more months” to fix. Even with efforts, the developers cannot guarantee full resolution of the problems players are currently facing.
Helldivers 2’s performance has been worsening for several months, leading to frustration within the gaming community. Although Arrowhead has previously addressed the situation, their stance remains that improvements will require substantial time rather than a one-time patch.
In response to inquiries about a performance update on the game’s Discord, Jorjani indicated that “performance will take many many more months of work to get to even more meaningful improvement.” Players hoping for quick fixes may need to be patient.
Despite the current challenges, Jorjani has reassured fans that Helldivers 2 is here to stay. He recently mentioned that there are no plans for a Helldivers 3, focusing instead on enhancing the longevity of the current game. With ongoing updates and improvements in the pipeline, Helldivers 2 is expected to return with exciting content soon.
