Danny Trejo Takes on Bethesda's Fallout Anniversary, Calls for New Vegas Remaster

Danny Trejo, during Bethesda's Fallout anniversary celebrations, expresses a strong desire for a remaster of Fallout: New Vegas. His call receives widespread support from fans.

The course of history has a habit of picking certain individuals and turning them into representatives of their time鈥攆igures through whom the aspirations and demands of an era find voice. Much like Martin Luther and Karl Marx, get ready to add another name to that list: Danny Trejo, not only a Hollywood actor but now also a self-proclaimed Bethesda advocate.

As Bethesda geared up for its Fallout Day celebration, they urged fans on social media platforms to catch the upcoming announcements and exclusive merchandise related to Fallout 76 and Fallout 4. Trejo, undistracted, jumped into action on his Instagram with a compelling plea: “Remaster New Vegas boss! 馃敟” showing up on Todd Howard’s post and quickly becoming the most-liked comment, gathering support from fans with enthusiastic replies.

Trejo reflects a widespread hope among fans for a remaster of Fallout: New Vegas. While Bethesda highlighted a 10th anniversary edition for Fallout 4 during the event, the only update regarding New Vegas was about a new physical edition that featured some additions. Many fans expressed their disappointment, hoping for a more substantial update concerning the game itself.

Trejo has a vested interest; he voiced his portrayal of Raul Tejada, the ghoul companion in the game. Recently, he also showcased some impressive fan art of his character as an anniversary tribute, displaying his genuine affection for the Fallout series.

For what it鈥檚 worth, it seems inevitable that some form of New Vegas re-release could be on the horizon, especially given the successful remaster of Oblivion. However, it may need to wait in line behind the anticipated Fallout 3 remaster. If and when something does materialize, Trejo will be expected to share some screenshots of his character or else face backlash from fans.
