Battlefield 6 Players Express Frustration Over Call of Duty-Inspired Mobility

Players of Battlefield 6 are expressing their dissatisfaction with the mechanics that resemble those in Call of Duty, calling for improvements to enhance gameplay.

As Halloween approaches, gamers have witnessed many surprising acts in the battlefield, none more shocking than a recent clip posted by Ok_Paramedic4770. The video showcases an unexpected player maneuvering through a firefight by sliding and jumping to dodge bullets, eventually eliminating Ok_Paramedic4770 in a brutal fashion.

“This is absolutely disgusting to see in a Battlefield game,” Ok_Paramedic4770 expressed. “And I say this as someone who plays COD. Something has to be done about this, as I want an immersive experience in Battlefield, not gameplay that brings COD to mind.”

This outcry is part of a larger trend of players voicing their discontent about mobility mechanics that feel too much like those in the Call of Duty series. Gamers are questioning these mechanics that allow for such extreme movements, stating it sacrifices the grounded nature of Battlefield gameplay.

One player noted, “You shouldn’t be able to jump from a slide and vice versa.” Others are calling for a more balanced approach to gameplay movement.

Concern also rises among players regarding the appearance of flashy skins, with many feeling they detract from the Battlefield experience. As they await developments from DICE, the community remains vocal about preserving the essence of the game as they navigate these new challenges.
