The tournament organizer has elucidated more details regarding the upcoming Major Regional Qualifiers (MRQs) for the Austin Major, which will be held online across all three regions: Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

MRQ Schedule

  • Europe: April 14-17 (16 teams)
  • Americas: April 15-17 (8 teams each from North and South America)
  • Asia: April 15-17 (4 teams each from China, Mongolia & Western Asia, Oceania & SEA)

Formats

  • Europe: Swiss tournament with Bo3 matches
  • Americas: GSL groups leading to playoffs
  • Asia: Double-elimination bracket with Bo3 matches
