Franco “dgt” Garcia announced the end of his long-standing collaboration with 9z after five impactful years,
“For some time I felt that we weren’t going down the same path and that I needed some fresh air and a change,” said dgt concerning his departure.
In his five years with 9z, dgt contributed significantly to the organization, transforming it from a relatively unknown team to a formidable competitor at major events.
9z and dgt, known for their remarkable tournaments such as the Major appearances in Antwerp and Rio in 2022, mutually agreed to part ways after a rewarding collaboration. The coach of 9z, Gustavo “yel” Knittel, is temporarily leading the team following dgt’s departure as they search for his replacement.
