Lana Del Rey Might Have Penned a Bond Theme for 007 First Light

Speculations arise that Lana Del Rey could have written a theme song for the upcoming James Bond game, 007 First Light.

As noted by a Reddit user, Lana Del Rey has registered a song with ASCAP that shares its name with IO Interactive’s upcoming James Bond game: First Light. This isn’t definitive proof, considering Del Rey has an album releasing soon, so this might simply be an unrelated song.

However, Lana’s style would be a perfect match for a Bond theme reminiscent of the smoky vibes provided by Nancy Sinatra, and she could potentially deliver something akin to Shirley Bassey’s iconic tracks.

Additionally, it’s worth mentioning that she previously wrote a theme for Spectre, which was ultimately replaced by Sam Smith’s track, “Writing’s on the Wall.” The song she composed for it was later released as “24,” linking it to the 24th Bond film.

If she did happen to contribute to 007 First Light, it would certainly enhance the experience, especially as the game features a younger James Bond engaging in action sequences.
