Creative Assembly has announced that the next DLC, Tides of Torment, for Total War: Warhammer 3, will launch on the same day as a significant showcase event revealing the future of the franchise. This announcement follows their previous statement regarding ending support for Total War: Three Kingdoms, as they focus on the upcoming content.
This expansion will introduce a new High Elf faction led by Sea Lord Aislinn, including troops like Merwyrms and Skycutters—eagle-powered chariots. A new faction from Norsca will be headed by Sayl the Faithless, who commands the two-headed giant troop known as the Curs’d Ettin, and a Slaanesh faction led by Dechala the Denied One, who features a flying mutant beast called the Preyton.
In addition to the new factions, update 7.0 will roll out for all players, refining existing features while introducing new gameplay mechanics, including a new setting for High Elf armies and additional features for Norsca and Slaanesh.
Mark your calendars for December 4 for both the DLC and the Total War Mod Manager launch, which aims to enhance user experience.
