Battlefield 6 Reverses Its Conquest Changes Following Community Outcry

After immediate negative feedback, Battlefield Studios has decided to revert recent changes made to the Conquest mode in Battlefield 6.

Recently, Battlefield Studios made headlines by announcing a change to the Conquest mode in Battlefield 6: they reduced the number of tickets, aiming to speed up matches. This meant that some maps saw a maximum drop of 100 tickets while others, like Operation Firestorm and Mirak Valley, experienced cuts of 300 tickets.

The response from the player community was swift and intense, signaling dissatisfaction with the alterations. Many players voiced their concerns about how these changes affected the overall gameplay experience. The widespread feedback clearly indicated that players were frustrated, not with the ticket count itself but with the existing time limits on matches.

In a recent statement, Battlefield Studios confirmed they would revert the controversial ticket changes, returning the counts across all maps to the original values of 1,000 with 45-minute time limits for matches. This decision came with the caution that match durations could potentially lengthen as a result on larger maps.

While this addresses part of the community’s request, it still leaves unresolved issues regarding the timer in matches, and further adjustments may be forthcoming as the studios continue to monitor player feedback.
