World of Warcraft to Introduce Player Housing in December with New Add-On

With the upcoming player housing feature, players can start gathering furniture early using a new add-on.

The highly anticipated expansion of World of Warcraft, titled Midnight, will finally introduce player housing on December 3. This new feature aims to enhance player experience by allowing them to create personalized living spaces, a feature that competitors have already utilized successfully. Blizzard Entertainment has learned from past mistakes in this area, as pointed out by PC Gamer’s Harvey Randall.

To facilitate the transition to this new housing system, there will be an add-on called Home Bound created by Bettiold. This tool assists players in identifying achievements they should pursue now, enabling them to unlock a variety of furniture items upon the launch of the housing system. Players can already begin earning decor items linked to achievements and current game content, which will count retroactively.

This new feature promises over 100 different decor items and aims to make it easier to track what players possess. The add-on will filter out irrelevant achievements and create an organized checklist of desired items, transforming the setup process into what could be described as an Azeroth equivalent of a trip to IKEA.
