Riot Games is poised to roll out major changes to the new Feats of Strength system introduced in the latest season update of League of Legends.
In a recent announcement, Lead Gameplay Designer Matt “Phroxzon” Leung-Harrison confirmed that the requirement for achieving First Blood as part of the Feats of Strength challenges will be removed. The mechanic, part of the upcoming Season 15 adjustments, tasks teams with completing two out of three objectives before opponents, which previously included taking the first kill, destroying the first turret, or defeating the first three Epic jungle camps.
More tweaks were introduced this season, including the addition of Tier 3 boots as a reward and a new boss monster called Atakhan. The adjustments aim to refine gameplay experience and balance the competition further following community feedback.
“We always strive to keep the gameplay fresh and engaging for our players, ensuring they are excited about the challenges and rewards presented,” said Phroxzon. “This adjustment is part of our commitment to listening to our player base and enhancing their gaming experience.”
These updates set the stage for what promises to be an exciting year for League of Legends, with more content and improvements anticipated as Riot continues to develop the game.
