Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Welcomes Unique Day-One Title from Microsoft Studio

The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate service has introduced 'Keeper', a surreal adventure game, as its latest addition this month.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate has added Keeper to its lineup. This visually striking adventure marks the 56th new title released on the subscription service this October and the 178th addition since January 2025.

Keeper Adventure

The creative effort comes from Double Fine Productions, the studio behind Psychonauts. Keeper was unveiled during the recent Xbox Games Showcase in June 2025, depicting a third-person adventure in a post-apocalyptic world featuring an unusual partnership between a pelican-like bird and a dormant lighthouse that unexpectedly gains life.

Available Now on PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate

Today, October 17, players can dive into Keeper on PC and across cloud gaming platforms where available. This day-one title is exclusive to the Ultimate and PC tiers of Xbox’s subscription service.

What About Xbox Game Pass Premium?

On October 1, Microsoft modified the Xbox Game Pass tiers, changing the names and configurations. Although day-one releases aren’t part of the Premium membership, Xbox has pledged to provide first-party titles within a year of their launch. Thus, Keeper is expected to become available on Xbox Game Pass Premium by October 2026 at the latest.

Upcoming Additions

Several titles, including Ninja Gaiden 4 and Evil West, are set to join Xbox Game Pass before the end of October 2025, with more announcements expected soon.
