Sektori’s demo blew me away when I played it last year.
If you haven’t heard of Sektori, it’s a geometric shoot ’em up reminiscent of Housemarque’s games like Resogun and Nex Machina. The creator, Kimmo Lahtinen, spent 13 years at Housemarque before embarking on his own projects, including a hack ’n’ slash game and a life simulation.
The gameplay involves controlling a 3D arrow blasting shapes in a dynamic arena that transforms as you progress.
Unfortunately, the demo is no longer available, as Lahtinen has taken it down for updates to enhance the final product, which is set to release on November 18. He aims for each run to feel familiar yet unique, adding replayability with various ships and game modes.
