Genshin Impact Features New Characters in Version 6.1
Genshin Impact has officially revealed the characters slated for its Version 6.1 banner, showcasing a robust lineup that includes Nefer, Furina, Arlecchino, and Zhongli.
With this update, players will see the introduction of the Miliastra Wonderland, a sandbox mode enabling players to design, share, and engage in custom mini-games within the community. Additionally, Nefer will make her debut alongside the ongoing Archon Quest for Nod-Krai.
From a gameplay perspective, Nefer is expected to be a formidable Dendro hypercarry. While her collaboration with Lauma is essential, her pairings with characters like Nahida, Yelan, Xingqiu, Zhongli, Aino, and Baizhu are highly regarded. A notable feature of Nefer is her capacity to convert available Dendro Cores into Seeds of Deceit, amplifying her charged attacks.
Event Banners for Version 6.1
First Half
- Nefer – 5-Star Dendro Catalyst
- Furina – 5-Star Hydro Sword
Second Half
- Arlecchino – 5-Star Pyro Polearm
- Zhongli – 5-Star Geo Polearm
During the recent developer livestream, it was disclosed that the Event Banners would feature Nefer and Furina in the first half, followed by Arlecchino and Zhongli in the latter half. The associated Weapon Banner is expected to be particularly enticing as it will include their Signature Weapons alongside new 4-Star weapons related to Nod-Krai. Players who haven’t pursued Lauma may find considerable benefit in acquiring Furina.
Arlecchino also stands out as a formidable character, particularly appealing to those who enjoy her unique style of play. Conversely, Zhongli remains a staple choice, offering immense value as a shield support, albeit he may be outshined by other characters in premium teams. The identities of the featured 4-Star characters are yet to be confirmed, but leaks suggest possibilities like Lan Yan, Yun Jin, and Rosaria appearing in one of the halves.
Ultimately, with a host of 5-Star characters lined up, players may consider saving for future wants rather than immediately pursuing the Version 6.1 banners. Speculation indicates that Durin, a Pyro Support, may debut in Version 6.2, while Columbina, a Hydro Support, is expected to join in Version 6.3. The release of Version 6.1 is set for October 22 and will be available until December 3.
