PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025: Teams, Format, Schedule, and Prizes

PGL is organizing its first standalone event since 2015, and it will offer a massive $1.25 million prize pool for 16 teams.

Event Overview

PGL will host the event in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, where 16 participating teams will compete over a multi-day schedule. This tournament marks a significant return for Counter-Strike in Cluj after the successes of the past.

Format

The tournament features a Swiss format with eight series each day during the group stages, leading to playoffs. This innovative structure has not been seen in a top-tier LAN since StarSeries S7 in 2019.

The total prize pool of $1,250,000 will be allocated as follows:

Teams Competing

Top teams like FaZe, Eternal Fire, and Virtus.pro have accepted invitations. Notably, the tournament will also see new teams making their debut, such as the Imperial Valkyries.
