The Elder Scrolls 6 is set to introduce a character in homage to notable community member Loranna Pyrel. The Elder Scrolls community made a significant fundraising effort to have Pyrel represented in the game.

Fans of Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls series have eagerly awaited news since the game announcement at E3 2018. This unique character is not only a tribute but also a response to previous concerns from another prominent figure, Shirley Curry, who worried she may not see the game released.

Bethesda’s charity drive aimed to include characters based on community figures and successfully raised over $170,000 for various philanthropic causes.

Despite some challenges, such as being outbid in the initial bid for character creation, the community persisted and crafted a character that honors Pyrel, who sadly passed away in 2024, surprising many with her sudden departure.

For those less familiar, Pyrel’s roleplay campaign significantly contributed to the series’ development. Former Bethesda developer Ted Peterson utilized the campaign as a testing ground for integrating themes and narratives into future game installments.

Although no release date has been set for Elder Scrolls 6, anticipation remains high as this tribute to Loranna Pyrel comes to life, alongside homage to Shirley Curry, further deepening the connection between the game and its devoted followers.
