Battlefield 6's System Requirements Reveal Potential for 4K at 240 Hz Without Ray Tracing

The latest updates for Battlefield 6's system requirements indicate that it's possible to achieve remarkable frame rates at high resolutions, which is exciting news for gamers.

Battlefield 6 is approaching its launch, and updated system requirements have just been released. According to these new specifications, players can expect to achieve 144 fps on high settings and 240+ fps on ultra settings at 4K resolution with Nvidia’s DLSS technology activated.

This efficiency, however, requires an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 GPU and an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K or an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor.

Interestingly, the Intel Core Ultra is expected to match or perhaps surpass the performance of the Ryzen for gaming tasks at such high settings, indicating that the GPU’s role is more critical in this scenario.

These changes mark a significant focus on performance, with EA removing ray tracing as a feature to ensure smooth gameplay. As stated by one of their developers, the goal is to optimize the game effectively for all users.

With the market excitement surrounding Battlefield 6, it seems the new requirements will cater not only to high-end gaming rigs but also to lower-spec configurations, allowing a broader range of users to experience the game effectively.
