Blizzard Entertainment has officially unveiled Patch 11.2.7 for World of Warcraft, which introduces early access to Player Housing, reintroduces the Brawler’s Guild, and presents the prologue for Midnight. Named “The Warning,” this final content update will launch on December 2.
On October 7, World of Warcraft released Patch 11.2.5, which added additional character slots and improved the Cooldown Manager, but was mostly recognized for Legion Remix and the Season 3 Turbo-Boost.
The upcoming Patch 11.2.7, The Warning, is set to be the last major update before the Midnight pre-patch. This update will also provide a narrative link featuring Vereesa Windrunner, who will delve into a foreboding prophecy regarding the devastation of Quel’Thalas.
Key Features of Patch 11.2.7 ‘The Warning’
- Epilogue for The War Within and prologue for Midnight featuring Vereesa Windrunner
- Early access to Housing
- Revamped Experiences for New and Returning Players
- New lore exploration offering insight into the history of Quel’Thalas

A new lore exploration focused on the Elves of Quel’Thalas will be available to reacquaint gamers with the rich history of the race, set against the backdrop of the impending Midnight expansion. Additionally, the Pandaren will finally unveil their Heritage Armor questline. Fans who pre-purchase Midnight will gain access to Player Housing on December 2, whereas those who haven’t can interact with decor and explore neighborhoods but won’t be able to acquire a house until the expansion is purchased. Expecting Midnight to release in early 2026, this patch aims to provide ample content for players to engage with before the new expansion arrives.
