Microsoft has unveiled new controllers inspired by The Outer Worlds 2, available for order via Xbox Design Lab weeks before the game’s official launch. Players can opt for either a Standard or Elite version featuring designs that highlight key art from the game.

Pricing and Features

The Xbox Design Lab’s customization options for The Outer Worlds 2 controllers include the Moon Man design for the main body and various button configurations. The Standard version starts at $94.98, while the Elite version is priced at $184.98, exclusive of taxes.

Compared to the base Xbox Design Lab controllers, which begin at $79.99, the Moon Man design adds a $14.99 premium, along with a $3.99 increase for the metallic Storm Gray triggers.

New Gameplay Elements

As a sequel to the acclaimed 2019 title, The Outer Worlds 2 promises to expand upon its predecessor with new companions and gameplay mechanics set in the space colony Arcadia. The game is being developed using Unreal Engine 5, although concerns about performance persist.
