A Journey Through 30 Years of GPU Evolution: The Collector's Passion Unveiled

Explore a Korean YouTuber's stunning collection of Nvidia and AMD graphics cards, showcasing over three decades of technological advances.

A hardware enthusiast has amassed a breathtaking collection showcasing 30 years of Nvidia and AMD graphics cards. The collection includes everything from the first Nvidia GPU, the NV1, released in 1995, to a non-functional display unit of the latest RTX 5090.

The entire display features plaques listing each card’s architecture and release year, almost every flagship model represented. While previous industry icons like Voodoo cards are absent—due to personal nostalgia—the collector has expressed admiration for the GTX 690 model from 2012, citing its metallic design as a favorite.

The collector, known as Ornstein6990, revealed that two-thirds of the GPUs are still operational and that the collection, mainly sourced second-hand, cost under $10,000.
