Overwatch 2 Introduces Stadium Update for October 2025

Overwatch 2 unveils a new patch that includes vital balance changes and bug fixes, enhancing gameplay ahead of the upcoming Season 19.

Overwatch 2 recently released a Stadium update that includes important balance adjustments for characters like Freja, Tracer, and Brigitte. Adjustments were made to how Ranked Stadium Points are managed as well.

This update is active now in Overwatch 2 and is expected to be one of the final patches before the start of Season 19, scheduled for October 14.

Major Changes in the Patch:

  • Freja: Enhancements to several powers to improve her performance.
  • Tracer: Adjustments both buffing and nerfing her abilities to maintain her competitiveness.
  • Brigitte: Reduced damage from her Shield Boomerang Power.

Additional adjustments were made to the Ranked Points system, facilitating smoother progression for players aiming for Elite status. The penalty for losing matches has also been revised, giving players better opportunities based on their performance during matches.

Bug Fixes

Numerous bugs affecting gameplay have been resolved, enhancing overall stability. These include issues with various characters in both Stadium and Overwatch Classic.
