The First DLC for Fallout: London is Almost Here, Prepare for a Fresh Start

Fallout: London's first DLC, 'Rabbit and Pork,' is rumored to release soon, requiring a fresh save to play.

I can’t determine if it seems like a long time since Fallout: London released its ‘DLC-sized’ total conversion mod or if it feels too recent. However, Fallout: London’s first DLC, known as Rabbit and Pork, is drawing near. Dean Carter, the project lead, shared an intriguing image on Discord, hinting that the release may be imminent. This upcoming content will be released with the in-progress 1.03 patch and is reportedly substantial. But, unfortunately, it requires players to start a fresh save.

What’s the reason for this? According to reports, the development team has been ensuring that upcoming quests in future DLCs will not demand a new game save. So, at least you won’t face this issue with the second DLC. As described by Emily Kemp, this DLC will feature side quests of varying sizes but won’t include main quest content. Hence, if you’re looking for a big new story, you may have to wait for the next installment.
