Cities: Skylines 2 Expands with a New Netherlands Region Pack

The latest update introduces a Netherlands-themed region pack, featuring new service buildings and realistic burial options.

The game Cities: Skylines 2 has just released a free content update named the Netherlands Region Pack. This pack allows players who admire Dutch culture to create a city inspired by the Netherlands, including various new service buildings and a surprisingly realistic cemetery.

“The interest and size of the Dutch Cities community is not a secret; it represents a large and very active side of the playerbase…” — a Paradox staff member, REV0.

Furthermore, the cemetery has become the most intricate asset in this pack, allowing players to manage death care options, echoing a feature common in urban management today. With more than a dozen upgrades, players can tailor their approach to managing burial sites versus cremation, reflecting actual societal preferences in the Netherlands.

The development of this pack was notably swift, and the team expressed their excitement about finally bringing this sought-after region to life.
