Dying Light: The Beast has just received its Hotfix 1.2.3, aimed at resolving the frequently criticized zombie grab mechanics while also enhancing overall game stability and correcting various bugs.

Launched on September 18, the game received a positive reception, but it wasn’t without its issues, particularly concerning zombies overly grabbing players. Following community feedback, the latest update aims to address this with significant gameplay adjustments.

Techland announced the release of this new hotfix on September 30, which comes with several critical improvements, including tweaks to the zombies’ grabbing ability, ensuring it is “less frustrating” and more “fair” based on player feedback. Additionally, gameplay modifications focus on correcting the behavior of Screamers in Dark Zones and fixing issues with progression blockers caused by modded weapons.
