Cairn’s Release Pushed to 2026 with Exciting Demo Updates

Cairn, a survival-climbing game, has been delayed until early 2026 but will receive an exciting demo feature in October.

Cairn, the highly anticipated survival climber, has been officially delayed from its initial release date of November 5, 2025. The Game Bakers, the studio behind it, has stated that they need additional time to enhance the game’s overall quality. Although the game is fully content-complete, the developers are focused on further optimization and debugging to ensure a memorable experience.

Quote from The Game Bakers: “Our goal has always been to create games you remember long after playing them. This requires a little more tiempo.”

In the meantime, the game’s demo on Steam will receive an exciting update on October 13. This new feature will allow players to see the ghosts of other climbers during their ascent on Mount Tenzen. Players will have the opportunity to race against others, learn new climbing techniques, and uncover hidden routes.

While the new timeline for Cairn’s release is set for early 2026, fans can still dive into the demo and explore its mechanics until then.
