Sony has unveiled a set of unique items to commemorate the 30th anniversary of PlayStation. These include

• A limited-edition photography book themed around the brand’s history, priced at $125, which features unseen prototypes and concept art.
• PlayStation-themed sneakers, styled to celebrate the PS1’s light gray aesthetics. The sneakers will be sold in three varieties tagged for different regions. Expect prices to be around $220 for the US, ¥37,000 for Japan, and £150 for the UK. They are set to hit selected retailers in mid-October 2025.

While these new items were unexpected, they are likely to resonate well with devoted PlayStation fans. Over the past week, the gaming community was also treated to fresh gameplay of Saros and new insights into Wolverine, set to release in fall 2026.
