McDonald's Monopoly Returns With a New Twist
The popular Monopoly event at McDonald's is making a comeback, but with new limitations.
McDonald’s is officially reintroducing its beloved Monopoly event for a limited time, albeit with new restrictions.
The fast-food giant has a history of promotional events that feature various franchises, having partnered with notable titles like Genshin Impact and Pokémon in the past. The Monopoly collaboration, a perennial favorite, allows customers to collect game pieces by purchasing select menu items to win prizes.
This upcoming iteration of Monopoly, set to kick off next month, will be available only through the company’s mobile app. Customers will have the ability to earn both physical and digital game pieces via the app, which can be scanned for benefits including a grand prize of a vacation package valued at $50,000, alongside cash prizes of $10,000 available for shopping sprees.
Additionally, promotional launches will commence on October 6, and customers can pre-register now to gain bonus rewards points.
McDonald’s Monopoly has been available intermittently since 1987, though it has seen long breaks, with the last U.S. edition concluded in 2018. To learn more, check out: McDonald’s Monopoly History.
