Gravebound's Bullet Hell Mechanics Bring a Fresh Take on Extraction Shooters, Now Available for Open Playtesting

Gravebound introduces innovative bullet hell mechanics to the extraction shooter genre, inviting players to join the action in an ongoing public playtest.

In the latest PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct, Gravebound, an upcoming third-person extraction shooter, was showcased, revealing its unique twist in a post-apocalyptic environment. Players will find themselves combating hostile robots and rival players seeking the same loot.

Notable features include:

  • Bullet hell-style combat, featuring enemies that can unleash harmful projectiles and area attacks.
  • A diverse arsenal including shotguns, sniper rifles, and pistols, with each shot contributing to the visual feedback on enemy damage.

If you’re interested, the open playtest for Gravebound is currently running and available for download on Steam. The full game is set to launch later this year.
