With Nintendo not venturing into PC gaming, titles like Demi and the Fractured Dream are essential in bringing the enchanting essence of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom to the platform.
The recent trailer from the PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct introduced a masked protagonist awakening in a dilapidated temple, receiving whispers from a mysterious voice guiding them to face the legendary Accursed Beasts. This game exhibits clear influences from the Zelda franchise but maintains a unique charm and identity through its beautifully crafted characters.
Among the intriguing figures, one sports dark antlers with white eyes, another’s face is obscured by a scarf revealing only a long eyelash and serpentine eye, while a mouse-like mage appears as another character.
The visuals promise vibrant landscapes, alongside a combat system filled with quick dodges and a combination of agile strikes. Players will face diverse enemies, including one that rapidly spins and another that strikes with a long tongue. Expect exhilarating challenges and intricate encounters in Demi and the Fractured Dream, set to release next year.
You can add it to your wishlist on Steam.
