Task Time: A New Party Game with Over 500,000 Tasks Set to Bring Chaos

A fresh party game called Task Time promises an extensive variety of tasks providing chaotic fun for players.

Upon its reveal during the PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct, Task Time emerged as an intriguing new title developed by ReadGraves, featuring an impressive selection of over 500,000 task variations. This party game, conceived by some of the creators behind Fall Guys and Gang Beasts, is designed to ensure a fun and chaotic experience for players.

The gameplay involves completing a variety of ridiculous tasks, such as hurling chairs through hoops in a bustling gym setting filled with obstacles and opportunities for sabotage among players. The tagline—“do what it takes to win”—highlights the game’s knack for instigating chaos, allowing players to disrupt each other’s efforts with an array of antics.

Task Time will support up to eight players online, and four in a local splitscreen setting, with no microtransaction lock-ins for cosmetics, making all customization options earnable within the game.

Although the game’s official release isn’t set until 2026, interested players can participate in a play test on Steam right now. With each match featuring around six rounds, players would need to engage in over 83,000 games to explore all tasks just once—making it a tantalizing prospect for gaming enthusiasts looking for a lively experience.
