Battlefield 6 Takes a Jab at Call of Duty in New Trailer

The new live-action trailer for Battlefield 6 humorously mocks Call of Duty, showcasing celebrities in exaggerated military gear.

The highly anticipated Battlefield 6 has recently premiered a live-action trailer that pokes fun at its rival, Call of Duty. Unveiled on September 28, the trailer features celebrities in outrageous military attire, highlighting the differences between the two games.

In this two-minute promo, Jesse Efron, NBA star Jimmy Butler, country artist Morgan Wallen, and mixed martial artist Paddy Pimblett are seen in flamboyant gear, carrying weapons embellished with comical skins—making a clear reference to the colorful cosmetics favored in Call of Duty. Just as Efron starts to speak, they are abruptly taken out by a missile, showcasing the game’s serious tone.

The trailer showcases EA’s strategy to firmly establish Battlefield 6 as a no-nonsense alternative for gamers who prefer a realistic military experience instead of the playful vibe offered by its competitor.

Celebrity Appearances in the Trailer

  • Zac Efron
  • Jimmy Butler
  • Morgan Wallen
  • Paddy Pimblett

Available soon, Battlefield 6 is set to launch on October 10, 2025, and aims to attract fans who are looking for a more serious gaming experience compared to the vibrancy of Call of Duty. In related news, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 drops on November 14.
