Battlefield 6 publisher EA has disclosed the official pre-load date and time for fans eager to dive into the game. After a hiatus of four years without a new release in the series, Battlefield 6 is set to launch on October 10 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Fans who have pre-ordered the game can start pre-loading it on October 3.
In 2021, Battlefield 2042 faced substantial criticism, leading fans to hope for a better offering with the new installment. EA and DICE are working to deliver an enhanced gaming experience with Battlefield 6, which recently had successful beta weekends before its release.
Pre-Load Details
Fans can pre-load Battlefield 6 starting at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET / 4 PM BST on October 3. This will be available for those who pre-ordered either the Standard or Phantom edition of the game. The pre-load option allows players to jump right into the action when the game officially launches.
Unfortunately, the much-anticipated Battle Royale mode will not be available for pre-load. However, sources suggest that it may be set to launch on October 28, just weeks after the game’s initial release.
Storage Requirements
Players should prepare between 55 to 80 GB of storage for the game, depending on their installation choices. EA will allow players to select specific content, meaning they can opt out of the single-player campaign if they wish, focusing solely on the multiplayer experience.
