Forza Horizon 6’s Japan Map: Massive and Full of Action
Now is the time for all-things Japan in gaming. Reports confirm that Japan is not just big; it’s enormous with countless activities available.
“Tokyo is allegedly at least double the size of Milton Keynes, and Hokkaido has been described as making the Isle of Wight look tiny.”
Thus, Forza Horizon 6 is set to feature this sprawling land of the rising sun. According to GamesRadar, art director Don Arceta emphasized that the upcoming venture will have the series’ largest map yet, promising it to be densely packed with engaging content.
Just as expected, developers often assure about the scale of new releases, but there’s no reason to doubt Arceta here. Previous successes in crafting expansive environments give confidence that a rich and engaging landscape is ready to be unveiled in Japan.
“This map we’ve developed specifically for Japan is extensive yet also filled with activities. There’s always something to discover just around the corner. It is bigger, although I’m not putting any numbers on it.”
The previous game, Forza Horizon 5, featured an expansive map estimated at over 100 square kilometers, which sets the bar high for its successor.
Tokyo, currently reigning as the biggest city globally, will play a significant role in the game’s scale: “Tokyo is our most ambitious city, layered and complex,” says Arceta. Gamers can expect a fresh new gameplay experience that showcases the charm and intricate details of Japan.
