Witcher 3's Cross-Platform Mod Support Patch Delayed to 2026

The anticipated patch for Witcher 3, which was meant to introduce cross-platform mod support, has been postponed until 2026.

In May, CD Projekt revealed plans for a patch to introduce cross-platform mod support for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, targeting a late 2025 release. However, the company has now announced a delay, pushing the timeline back to 2026.

“We originally planned to introduce cross-platform mod support for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S later this year, but the rollout is now shifting to 2026. We apologize for the delay and will share more details as we get closer to the release. Thank you for your patience!”

The update will enable modding across multiple platforms, allowing players to access various mods through mod.io. However, some mods may not be available on all platforms due to specific content guidelines.
