PlayStation Unveils New Pulse Speakers Targeted for Desktop Gaming

PlayStation introduces its Pulse Elevate wireless speakers designed specifically for desktop gaming, emphasizing features such as 3D audio support and sleek design.

New Pulse Elevate Speakers for Gamers

Sony’s recent announcement unveiled the Pulse Elevate wireless speakers that are geared towards desktop gamers. Specified during the State of Play stream, these speakers not only boast the iconic PlayStation logo but also claim specific features aimed at enhancing the desktop gaming audio experience.

The widgets come with planar magnetic drivers, built-in woofers, and support for 3D audio, making them a significant addition to PlayStation’s expanding hardware line. With adjustable lean-back orientations in their charging docks, they set themselves apart visually as well.

While no MSRP has been disclosed, Sony is expected to position these speakers at a premium price point when they launch in 2026.

Complementing Bluetooth connectivity, the Pulse Elevate speakers include PlayStation Link connectivity via USB-C, promising ultra-low latency. More than just a typical sound device, they feature a built-in microphone equipped with AI-enhanced noise rejection, facilitating voice communication without cumbersome headsets.

As gaming demands evolve, these remarkable speakers may redefine the audio approach of desktop setups, representing a shift in how PlayStation interacts with its PC gaming audience.
