Upcoming Release of Starsand Island

Starsand Island is set to launch in February 2026 on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. Developed by Seed Lab, this game has captured the attention of cozy gaming fans with its charm inspired by the renowned Stardew Valley.

During the Tokyo Game Show’s Xbox live stream, it was announced that the official release date for Starsand Island is February 1, 2026. Players can look forward to trying a demo starting October 12, 2025. Although initially scheduled for release in late 2025, the delay may come as a disappointment to eager fans.

Visuals likened to a Studio Ghibli film have heightened interest in the game, which is currently ranked 190th on Steam’s wishlist charts. Starsand Island features standard life simulation mechanics including farming, fishing, and crafting, yet distinguishes itself with a variety of vehicles for exploration and quality anime-inspired visuals.

Excitement builds as cozy game enthusiasts await the demo in October and the official launch in February.
