Release Date for C. Viper

  • C. Viper will launch on October 15.

As anticipated, Street Fighter 6 played a significant role during Capcom’s showcase, focusing on the forthcoming DLC fighter, C. Viper. Following the much-lauded return of Sagat, Capcom has revealed its next classic character, C. Viper, who will be available on October 15. Players with the Year 3 Ultimate or Character Pass will gain immediate access, while others can purchase her individually with the in-game currency, Fighter Coins.

The teaser trailer provided a two-minute glimpse of C. Viper’s gameplay, featuring a blend of her signature special moves from her prior appearance in Street Fighter 4. As an intelligence operative, Viper brings various gadgets that can inflict burn or shock damage on adversaries, enhancing abilities like Burning Kick and Seismic Hammer. She can also execute high jumps using her high-heeled shoes. Capcom has even revealed a costume from Street Fighter 4 as part of her offerings.

Players eager for new characters like Alex and Ingrid will have to wait until Winter and Spring, respectively. Besides, Capcom has announced exciting collaborations, including one with the metal band Cavalera Conspiracy for Zangief’s new outfit, along with new content to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the visual novel Banshee’s Last Cry. A special scenario will be playable in World Tour Mode, with unique items available for unlocking, reminiscent of the ghostly aesthetics from Banshee’s Last Cry.
