Onimusha: Way of the Sword has released a new trailer at the Tokyo Game Show 2025, focusing on the journey of Miyamoto Musashi and the characters he will encounter in the new title. In this installment, players will continue to wield the legendary swordsman’s skills while relying on the help of several allies to harness the gauntlet’s powers effectively.

The trailer presents a rich narrative where Musashi must learn to utilize a sentient gauntlet in his quest against demons and other supernatural foes. His allies guide him through a profound journey that challenges his perceptions of power and strength.

In a previous announcement, Akihito Kadowaki, the producer, emphasized the importance of the game’s character ensemble, highlighting historical figures from the late 16th to early 17th century. Furthermore, notable swordsman Sasaki Kojiro is confirmed as an antagonist, providing players with a formidable challenge during the gameplay.
