2XKO Launching from Closed Beta Ahead of Schedule, Welcoming All PC Players

The long-awaited tag fighter, 2XKO, will be accessible to PC players starting October 7, shedding its closed beta phase.

After nearly six years, the tag fighter known as 2XKO (previously referred to as Project L) is gearing up for its official launch as part of an early access release on October 7. Previously limited to a closed beta, it will now be available for all players on PC, without the need for invite codes.

While PC gamers can rejoice, those on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S will need to wait, as the game remains exclusive to PC for the time being. The company has not yet provided an update on when cross-platform play might be available.

This early access represents the beginning of ‘Season 0’ and features a new champion, whose identity remains unknown. Some hints have surfaced online regarding new character costumes through a recent datamine, sparking anticipation among fans.

Exciting times ahead for the competitive scene! Riot intends for 2XKO to debut at EVO France, just after early access kicks off, with enhanced prize pools introduced for various upcoming tournaments, balancing community involvement with competitive growth.
