Palworld Surprises with Ultrakill Crossover Announcement
Just a week after suggesting a quiet phase for the remainder of the year, Palworld has unveiled an unexpected crossover with the acclaimed shooter Ultrakill.
Nintendo is likely to appreciate this one.
Only last week, the team behind Palworld, Pocketpair, announced that their popular survival game would be going quiet for the rest of the year in preparation for a full launch planned for 2026. Surprisingly, they announced today a collaboration with Ultrakill, a notable indie shooter by Arsi ‘Hakita’ Patala, known for its fast-paced action and creativity.
The announcement declared that “collaboration gear and weapons from the cult-hit game Ultrakill are coming to Palworld!” With a tagline stating, “Mankind is dead. Blood is fuel. Hell is full,” players can expect an exciting blend of the two gaming worlds. Players can look forward to unique weapons and gear while bringing new dynamics to the gameplay.
In past discussions, Pocketpair’s community director Bucky emphasized the need for addressing the quirks and glitches in Palworld before exiting early access, indicating the significance of refining the game’s mechanics. The crossover with Ultrakill, alongside a winter update, aims to enrich the game experience while addressing existing gameplay elements.
